September Energy

Happy first of September!

Here in the northern hemisphere, we’re heading into autumn.

And even if the weather is still warm where you are,
you can already see the signs of a new season everywhere.

The days are getting shorter.

The nights are drawing in.

The temperatures are starting to cool.

The green leaves of summer are beginning to look tired,
some are already turning brown or falling to the ground.

Many birds are beginning their migration south.

Nature is whispering what we all know:
It’s time to let go of summer until next year.

But this change is also a wonderful opportunity to welcome new energy.

There’s a positive sense of movement in the air:

People return to work,

children and students go back to school and university

and many of us start new projects, make new plans and look ahead.

But as we enter this more productive time after the slower pace of summer…

back to life doesn’t have to mean back to stress!

The change of season gives us a perfect opportunity to create new routines.

Simple habits that help us hold onto some of that relaxed feeling of summer.

Maybe it’s writing in a journal every morning,

taking some gentle exercise,

going for a walk without your phone

or organising your life for greater satisfaction, not just greater productivity.

So… What does your best September look like?

Are you looking forward to this month?

What are your plans?

And how could September help you explore and discover your English?

Over to you.
